Comments
Second rider triggered this avalanche 2nd or 3rd turn from the top of the drop in - the most steep part of this run by far. We were aware of this possibility and rode conservatively to mitigate risk. Snowboarder #2 that triggered the slide was not carried. Snowboarder #1 was out of the way of slide path to rider's right side. Debris went down the chute and over the small cliff at the end and stopped. Total run maybe 200ft. This appeared to have failed on the crusts just above the recent storm snow. We had no other signs of instability during the outing.
