Triggered a wide, fast moving slide as I wrapped around a convex feature to avoid exposed rocks. Likely wind/storm slab created from heavy SW winds. The fracture propagated from my skis mid turn and made the corner around the convexity resulting in the whole plate avalanching into the gully below. I was able to cut hard left out of the slide luckily. While it wasn’t enough to bury a person it perhaps could’ve caused injury or a ride into the foliage below.
