Observation: Superior

Skied from Cardiff Pass to E-facing terrain off Cardiac Ridge. All aspects were firm and supportable through the morning under consistent cloud cover. Softening limited to the end of our S-facing Cardiff exit into LCC around 12:30pm. Light to Moderate W winds on the ridge, gusts produced sporadic plumes transporting new snow remnants (pictured). W side of it mostly stripped. Up to 1" of graupel/new snow on lower sheltered slopes softened turns a little. Only very small, isolated, unreactive drifts of the new precip (3" deep, max) found higher up on our traveled slopes.
