Weather and Snow

General Conditions: Stagnant weather continued on Monday with mild conditions. The snowpack remains shallow. Unbelievably, it is still supportable, allowing for cautious travel on skis and snowmachines.

Mountain Weather: Temperatures will be slightly cooler today than the last few. Expect partly cloudy skies with highs into the low 30s and light to moderate speed wind from the northwest. Wednesday looks similar with fewer clouds and a little warmer. High pressure continues with warmer weather through the tail end of the week.

Description

Sorry folks, there just isn't anything to discuss as far as the snowpack is concerned. Things are stable and human-triggered avalanches are unlikely. Hitting underlying rocks, logs, and stumps is the biggest threat out there right now.
